The Author

Susan Mayes graduated from Leeds University, UK, with a degree in Creative Arts, studying art and literature. She began her writing career as an author of children's non-fiction, later spreading her literary wings to write children's picture storybooks, as well as creative early learning titles. She is a previous winner of the Science Book Prize awarded by COPUS - The Committee on the Public Understanding of Science.

The Illustrator

Vic is an all around creative with a preference for traditional art mediums. They graduated from the University of Essex with a degree in 3D Design and Craft and haven't stopped making things since! From clothing and sculptures to pet portraits and book illustrations there's not a lot that they won't throw themselves into.
